Remember this moment

Hello lovely people

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I have an older layout to share.  This one is one that I put together using up some of my stash and the papers came from The Reject Shop.

I love how this turned out!

I was a little brave and tried a little bit of mixed media.  Just a bit of stamping and stenciling.

Here is a closer look at the embellishment cluster on the right hand side.

Thanks so much for popping by.

Until next time

Hugs

Happiness with L'aquarelle

I'm back again today with another layout from the gorgeous new L'aquarelle collection

Yep totally out of my comfort zone for this one - ORANGE!  A colour I would never use!  But again those beautiful flowers and birds were calling to be fussy cut

Firstly using the 6 x 6 lace doily stencil I created my back ground.  This time I used an orange ink pad and gently swiped over the stencil.

I then clustered my papers ready for my photo.  I also tucked in one of the diecut shapes too.

I then finished off with those pretty cut images from the paper

For my title I decided to use one of the Inspiration Cards and I mounted that with 3D tape to one of the dies in the collection.  The die I used is Rolling Mesh Background Die.

Thanks for popping by and for all your lovely comments

Until next time

Together with L'Aquarelle

Hello paper friends and thank you for stopping by today!

I have a layout to share today featuring the new L'aquarelle collection just released at CHA

WOW  this collection is so pretty.

As soon as I seen these beautiful flowers on the papers I knew I had to cut them out.

Here is a quick run down on how my layout came together

Using the Rolling Mesh 6 x 6 stencil I spread some of the Anna Griffin matt texture paste onto the page.

While the texture paste was still wet, I then sprinkled over some of the pretty purple glitter.

Once you shake of the excess this is what you are left with

I then started layering my papers.

Using the Flowering Frame embossing folder I made a photo mat for my photo and also gently swiped over it with a little green ink

I then started placing all the pretty flowers and also the gorgeous butterfly.  It is cut from the Watercolour Butterfly die.   I used some Couture Creations embossing powders on the die cuts to make the pop a little  This is a double die that also give you the background shape too.

Here's a couple of close ups for you

Thanks for letting me share!  Until next time
