Beautiful Moments - Seasons Greetings

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Yep its almost that time of the year - CHRISTMAS!

Say what!!!!!  No!!! I'm still scrapping photos from two Christmas's ago!

Today I have a layout using the Seasons Greetings paper line

I do tend to scrap very straight lined and when I have a few pics I always seem to gravitate to a grid layout.  This worked perfectly this time as it gave me the right amount of space to make a layered cluster in the bottom corner .

I made the cluster using the he card makers pack.  and some of the papers.  I layered papers and then some of the die cuts on top of each other with foam tape.    Once the paper cluster was done I embellished with the super pretty mixed primrose and mixed poinsettias  as well as that sweet little teddy in stocking ephemera piece again from the card makers pack.

I made another small cluster at the tope of the page and then splattered with some of the Anna Griffin Gesso that had been watered down just a little.  I love how the splattering of white paint just gives the whole page a little lift and dimension.

I would just like to take the opportunity now to wish all of you wonderful people out there a safe, happy and blessed Christmas.  Thank you to each and everyone of you that support us and for all the beautiful comments that are left on our Facebook page and blog.  I can guarantee that each comment is read and very much valued!

Until next time

The Adventure Begins with Couture Creations

Its me - Jo!  Back again today with yet another layout to share.

Today I am using the super cool Wild and Free collection from Couture Creations.

These papers are awesome not only for pics of the zoo but for your boys too!

The photo I have chosen to use is one that was taken on my honeymoon just a couple of years ago in Tasmania.  We decided to stop in and have a look at the Tasmanian Devils at a wildlife park in Mole Creek and ended up with wombat cuddles!! Yep totes the highlight of my trip!

This layout come about really quickly.  I layered some papers then pulled out a couple of dies.  Yep there is also one of the heart doilies from the Ooh La La collection (just coz I can't help myself).  There is also another couple of doily like dies.  The small black one that is peaking through is called Akua Doily.  I really like the tribal feel it has.  The other white one that is a bit bigger is from a previous collection (Background Gallery 2) and is called Sakura Sphere.

I had to use that super sweet Feathered Dreamcatcher die.  It too is part of the Wild and Free collection.  In your paper pack you also get a sticker sheet.

Here is another few layouts I have created with this paper pack.  Gotta say great value for money!

See!  Perfect papers for boy pages :)

Happy Moments

Hello!  Jo here and it's my turn on the Couture Creations blog today inspire you with the Ooh La La collection.

Today I have a simple layout to share with you using mainly die cuts from the Ooh La La ephemera pack and some die cuts from the same range.

Another layout with lots of white space.  I am really liking the "fresh" look of the white pages lately.  it gives me the opportunity to load my page with pretties but still have a calm place for the eyes to rest.

Here is how I did my clustering.  You will see in the final shot that I replaced the banner with the Lace Nonet die cut.  The other die cut I have used is the Nested Labels set which has fast become a favourite.  I have also added a couple of the heart doilies too.

My small flowers were white but have been coloured by mixing some Anna Griffin Pigment Powders with a little water and painting onto my flowers.  Gives them a nice shimmery effect and these little white flowers are perfect for altering as they hold up really well to water and paints/mists.

Here is a closer look at some of the details.

Thanks for looking

Until next time

Tropical Punch with Kaisercraft

Hello and thanks for stopping by my little part of the cyber world.

Today I have a couple of older layouts to share with you.  I created these a little while ago and have forgotten to pop them on my blog

These layouts were created using the Tropical Punch paper collection from Kaisercraft.

Very bright and very different.

The pic is of my beautiful boys at our wedding a year or so ago and my thinking was it was ok to put flowers as they had flowers on too.  Just doing what I love to do I spose.

Here is a closer pic of some of the details

You will see in both these pics the little embellishment clusters that I generally make up and then store to add to my pages at a later date.

Thanks again for popping by

Until next time

Remember this moment

Thanks for popping by today.

I have been on a bit of a blue theme lately.  Here is another layout.

I love how this turned out.

For this layout I used some pretty napkins for the background.  I then added some texture paste over the top.

Here is a closer look

The frame is a spellbinders die that I cut using chipboard.  I then used my embossing powders to create a bit of a shabby look

The napkins look fantastic on paper - almost like it has been printed on.

They can become a bit of an addiction tho.  I find myself wandering the shops looking for the $2 cheap stores and all their pretty napkins!

Until next time

Hugs

Cherish Layout

Hello paper friends

Just a quick share today using a colour that I don't tend to use a lot of - blue

This layout is a little loaded up with embellishments and stuff .

I'm not too sure who made these papers.  Think it may be Maja designs.  I stamped on the bottom of that blue with some versamark and then embossed it with white embossing powder.  I then added lots of paper layers and also some 2Crafty chipboard in the shape of hearts.  That was also embossed with embossing power.

Here is a couple of close ups.

That little charm that is hanging is actually a cheap bit off an old necklace.  I did have plans for using it on a mini album but thought it looked good on my page.

Finished with lots of Prima flowers and that pretty butterfly die.

Thanks for popping by

Happy scrapping

Jo
